What It Is

A text-based role-playing game where you are a hero summoned from another world. Train yourself in magic, scouting, and battle skills. Tame monsters and have them fight at your side. Try to tame rare monsters with special titles!

Hi, I'm Curtis Mirci. This is a project I made back in 2007 while I was learning how to program. The source files are all gone, so I am unable to make any changes. All of the urls and emails in the game are quite dead by now. Ignore everything in the Reference Manual about future plans! I thought all the files were lost, but once I found them again I wanted to have it backed up somewhere and figured I might as well share. Though this is now under the Califer Games umbrella I made this before I met Peter, the other half of Califer games. We originally teamed up to work on the sequel to this, but we eventually dropped it to work on Siphon Spirit.

How to Run

Darkened Dreams is a Jar file. You will need Java installed in order to run it. If you have Minecraft installed you most likely already have Java. Right click the Jar file and choose Open With. Select Java (TM) Platform SE Binary. If you choose to use that always then you can just double click the jar in the future to run it.

How to Play

The Starting Guide will contain all the info you need to get going, while the Reference Manual will cover everything else.
